THE PROJECT BAND

ABOUT US
THE PROJECT was formed in December, 2010. We are a 5- piece band consisting of talented musicians who share a love for Classic Rock. While striving to execute the songs as originally written, we do at times, add our own interpretation and flavor.
We initially got together merely to fill in at two gigs booked by another band that had since broken up. While getting our group off the ground, Email correspondence among us had the subject line of ‘The Project’. As the subject line identified what we were doing and became more familiar, it made sense to choose that line as the name of the band.
Following our first rehearsal, the collective energy created and friendships formed led to the decision to continue as a band and play out beyond the two ‘project’ gigs. Also, working on each new song is an enjoyable, focused ‘project’ as we put together the song structure, instrument parts, and vocals.
Since childhood, music has been a major influence in the life of each band member. We have all savored the passionate spirit and continue to experience the joy of playing the music we love in front of live audiences.
